I would like to install a "deacons blog" - an ongoing blog about anything that deacon[s] would like to talk about.-All deacons could have their own page. He can host studies- make announcements- or whatever is on his mind.
Many (if not all) deacons of Southwestern Church of Christ have a thirst for teaching and sharing. We all can't teach or preach every week so this outlet has been created to scratch that itch. It's purpose is to communicate whatever someone who is willing to share desires. There could be bible studies, sermon presentations, articles, images, announcements, praises or anything else. We will all be able to comment and add our collective knowledge.
I'm very excited to see what this will become.

ReplyDeleteDo you want separate blogs for each deacon? *One* blog is a series of postings published together. You can post what you want, but postings are grouped together by date and author.

I guess so- I just want it easy for the reader to go to the website.. get on a certain deacons blog.. read and comment- on an ongoing basis. It would be nice to be able to customize the individual blogs- add pics or movies- etc..
